신제주재래시장 간판 ⓒ octocho.

 우연하게 신제주재래시장을 발견했다. 제주 최고의 번화가로 변신한 만큼 시장 기능은 사라졌고, 그 흔적만 남았다. 저 간판이 아니면 도저히 알아볼 수 없는 상황.

 I found the sign of 신제주재래시장New Jeju Traditional Market by accident. I couldn't find any trace of the market. There were only a few shops still functioning, which didn't have any conventional market thingy.

 반대쪽을 봐도 식당만 보일 뿐, 우리가 생각하는 시장의 모습은 하나도 없다.

 On the other side, you can find only some restaurant, nothing we have in our knowledge.

 반대편 건물도 마찬가지. Not different at the opposite building.

담쟁이덩굴의 분위기. ⓒ octocho.

 건물 벽에 붙은 담쟁이덩굴만이 옛 정취를 자아낸다. The ivy on the wall shows that it had its time once.
