 오랜만에 육지나들이 갔다가 가 찾은 여수의 이름난 게장 맛집 원조두꺼비식당. 1인당 1만2천원인 정식을 시키면 위와 같이 구성된 음식이 나온다. 돌게(라고 하더라)로 만든 간장게장과 양념게장, 이에 돌게를 넣어 끓인 된장국. 게장 하나는 리필이 가능하다. 간단해 보여도 먹으면 배가 부르다. 정갈해 보이는 것처럼 맛도 수준급.

 Went to this Wonjo Dooggeobi restaurant, located in Yeosu, which specializes in marinated crabs. It is 12k KRW(appx. 11 US$) a person, min. 2 pax needed, with soy sauce and spicy ones, crab doenjang soup, or crab bean paste soup, and sidedishes. You can get an extra bowl of any of marinated crab if you want. It looks very simple, but fills your stomach to the full when you finish it.

 게장 두 종류 가운데 보통은 양념게장이 더 인기가 있는 것으로 안다. 간장게장에서 비린 내와 맛이 있는 경우가 많아서 그렇다. 그런데 원조두꺼비식당의 간장게장은 간장을 어떻게 배겨냈는지 그런 게 없다. 간장맛도 일품이다. 간장게장이 이렇게 맛있나 싶더라. 양념게장도 매운맛이 제대로인데다, 단맛을 덜 내서인지 질리지 않았고.

 Out of two types marinated crab, spocy one is more popular. It is because soy sauce one sometimes has fishy smell and taste. But Dooggeobi's soy sauce marinated crab doesn't have it. I wonder how they made it possible. Maybe, the wonderful soy sauce itself did the magic. I thought 'how can soy sauce marinated carb be this good!'. Spicy one is also good with the real spiciness and less sweetness.
