겨울 제주도에 흔한 풍경

제주도에는 이른바 '노지감귤'이 출하하면

거의 모든 식당에 감귤이 배치된다.

너무 잘거나 굵은 것,

혹은 상처 입어서 팔리지 않는 '비상품'을

알음알음 나눠주거나 판매한다.

그래서 어느 식당에서건 밥을 먹고 나면

후식 삼아 맘껏 들고 나가도 괜찮다.

제주의 인심이다.

Here in Jeju, each tangerine season

is the time when you enjoy it

as much as you want at nearly every restaurant.

They are not allowed to be sold at the market,

which make the farmers give them out for free

or for a few dollars.
